What does it involve?
The process starts with laying down straw, hay, or another type of ground covering to the top edge of your garden bed. We then lay a layer of shredded bark over the ground cover and use our lawn spreader to distribute it evenly throughout the bed.
Next we add an even coat of organic material like compost for nutrients and break up any lumps that might have formed during application using our rake. Finally, we sprinkle on some more shredded bark before watering in so everything gets dampened as well as covered by several inches worth of mulch which will keep weeds from growing while also helping reduce how often you need to water.
